Those looking to get their hands on the 4 Series will need to make a decision between the Coupe, Gran Coupe, or the Convertible. The Coupe range offers the 430i and 440i. The Gran Coupe range offers the 430i and 440i. Finally, in the Convertible lineup, consumers will also find the 430i and 440i. All these models reflect the attention to detail so synonymous with BMW where exterior styling is concerned. Engine (Power)
Depending on the trim, drivers can look forward to the base model which has a turbocharged 2-liter 16-valve engine. There is also the slightly bigger engine for those who require more power and a turbocharged 3-liter 24-valve is what they can expect. Both these engines are powerful and are paired up with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic engine.
Performance
It's only natural to assume that both engine sizes in the 4 Series range packs a whole lot of power, and the assumption is correct. The 2-liter engine provides drivers with 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The 3-liter steps it up a few notches and pushes out 320 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. Fuel consumption within the city is 24 miles per gallon and drivers can expect up to 34 miles per gallon on the open road.
Interior
Pure luxury oozes from every square inch of the interior of any of the 4 Series models. Even the SensaTec upholstery doesn't disappoint, however, discerning customers may want to opt for a genuine leather upgrade. Wood paneling and brushed aluminum make up the balance of the interior and provide that much-adored sense of style which makes the BMW stand out as a brand. Technology is not lacking in the 4 Series, and BMW kicks it into high gear with the iDrive system.
