Trim Levels

Power
Depending on which model of the 5 Series you opt for, you'll get a different engine. The 530i includes a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission; the 540i includes a turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine; the 530e includes a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a single electric motor, hence its hybrid form; and the M550i xDrive includes a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with all-wheel drive standard. Each is super powerful and will deliver peak performance.
Performance
Speaking of which, the 5 Series is a beast across the board.
