2023 BMW M2 Performance

The 2023 BMW M2 performance specs will command respect on both the race track and around the DC Metro Area. While information about the next-generation BMW M2 is still scant, we do know a bit about what’s happening under the hood. You’ll find a twin-turbo 3.0L inline-six that generates more power than its predecessor. Automotive journalists are predicting that, based on the preview BMW M2, you can except a horsepower rating somewhere in the mid-400s, which German prototype drives have generated 473 hp.

Commercial models will likely be restricted to 450 hp. That’s going to power the rear-wheel drive drivetrain for ultimate push, while the manual six-speed transmission (or eight-speed automatic) feeds the power where it needs to be. Meanwhile, paperwork has leaked that’s sparked rumors of a potential four-wheel drive model of the BMW M2.
